We are strategically placed for a variety of walks, whether they are valley based or whether they are more strenuous, such as climbing the local Monroes -Ben Nevis and Buchaille Etive Mor. Many of our visitors complete the Three Peaks’ Challenge, whilst staying with us. The Glen Coe mountain range, the Ballachulish Horseshoe, the Lost Valley at GlenCoe as well as a host of Munroes on Ardnamurchan are all within easy reach of us.

The Ardgour Inn
We have the Ardgour Inn which can be reached by using the Corran Ferry with crossings every half hour from 6.30 to 21.20 each day and 8.30 to 21.20 on a Sunday. The ferry leaves at quarter past and quarter to the hour during those times. The pub is open for evening meals from Thursday to Sunday inclusive, 18.00- 22.00 ( From November to March).

Next door to us we have the newly built Corran, which is currently open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for lunches and evening meals.
The Four Seasons Restaurant at Inchree
Located within five minutes’ walk from the bunkhouse, the restaurant offers a range of meals from 18.00-21.00 every evening, from the end of March to October.
There are also a number of fast food outlets in Fort William such as Wetherspoons, McDonalds and a Chinese Take Away.
The Co-Op is the nearest small supermarket at Ballachulish, which is ten minutes’ drive from the Bunkhouse. It is open from 7.00-22.00 every day. There is also Morrisons at Fort William which is open from 8.00- 22.00 each day and until 18.00 on Sundays.
